Yes, for all you onlysimchas addicts (the bangitout staff included)  - onlysimchas has finally launched thier long awaited "FAMILIAR FACES" campaign which hopes to address the question that many frum halachic OS addicts have been asking and forwarding to their friends and rabbis for oh so long: "Who the heck is that hottie???" 

As posted on onlysimchas press release:

"The new function, called "NameTags", allows users of the site to browse the site and claim (or "tag") photos of themselves. When they find a photo among the site’s 200,000 with their picture in it, they allocate the area over their face as a link to their profile.

"This technology allows users to determine the identity of other participants in a celebration - not just the celebrant," explains co-founder Dov Katz, the site’s lead developer. "After a picture is tagged, users can search the entire site for other appearances of the same individual. This adds a new dimension of social networking, and we are excited to provide this level of sophisticated technology to our users." "

You've opened the world up to stalking you happily, freely and halachically! yay!  HASHEM IS ONE!  We hope the genius Katz bros tie this into their dating website (futuresimchas) which is probably inevitable at this point...woohoo

Not to worry bangitout users...I'm sure bangitout.com will get this technology installed shortly for our beloved TUBAV and event pictures but for now, you'll just have to show up to the parties and actually - dare I say it - talk to the person yourself.
