Finally, kosher food has hit the garden! Apparently Mendy's has opened a food stand in Madison Sqaure Garden., so says a sign in the 34th St. restaurant. This will make the sixth Mendy's stop to open (34th St., Grand Central Station, Rokefeller Center, Galleria on 57th, Brooklyn) in NYC.  Will Mendy's be able to branch out to the suburbs like Dougies/Prime Grill?

 The sad thing is that Dougies & Mendy's -- both famous kosher restaurants in NYC -- used to have  places on the Upper West Side but no longer.  So add a kosher deli to the needs of the West Side which I think could use 1) a 24-hour-diner (this will make a killing) 2) fast food joint (Burgers Bar? KD?),  3)A bakery 4) A Kosher bar (especially if Makor leaves)
