Matisyahu's beloved Olympic theme song "One Day" is the now the subject of an insane DJ remix contest on www.indabamusic.com
Matishyahu himself has provided the source tracks of his vocals, background vocals, bass, drum, piano, guitar for any dj to download and remix.
The entries range from trance, dance, reggae, slow r&b, and even acoustic - it's really awesome to hear different takes on the same song - spend some time going through em, the Winner will collaborate with Matisyahu through Indaba to create a new song! The winner's mix will be posted on Matisyahu's official website and MySpace page. Definitly worth checking out... entries here
Matisyahu has joined forces with Israeli trance group Infected Mushroom to the most wild mix to come around. I recently saw them at Roseland, and they were INSANE!!! Two weeks ago, they cut a song on Infected's newest CD. I know, cause I was there....
