When it comes to hospitals, and emergencies, anyone can lose their mind, get angry, or be outright frustrated,  but this is espcially true when you add a sensitivity to halacha to the situation. In the hospital considerations about shabbos, kosher, calling a rebbe, not looking or responding to female nurses come into play…etc let's face it, we can be a-holes to hospital staff (jew and non-jew).

Take for example when 200,000 chassidic & yeshivish yids make their exodus from the city to the catskills for the summer bungalo season.  Stuff happens, and people end up in hospitals. Mostly clutsy Jews (trying to fish, hike, be outdoorsy woodsman their grandfathers were and they are not)

Thankfully, Jewish sensitivity training was offered for the entire staff of the Catskill Regional Medical Center to gear up for the influx of yids. They are so prepped and trained they even have a special shabbos stayover room ready and a full kosher menu! Two bangin' thumbs up to this place for realizing that our culture requires sensitivity!

Sounds so good, maybe we can stay there? Below is the shabbos room full with all the shabbos amenities you need:
