The JCC in Manhattan
Join Honeymoon Israel and JCC Manhattan for a dinner party and conversation that’s for gay and lesbian couples from different backgrounds and faith traditions who are looking to meet other couples and explore what partnership and family looks like. This dinner is for gay and lesbian couples with at least one Jewish (defined broadly!) partner.
We’ll provide dinner and cocktails, and facilitate casual conversation around topics of religion, faith and spirituality.
This event will be hosted on the rooftop deck at the home of past Honeymoon Israel participants on the Upper West Side:
Geo (Jewish) and Jay (goyish) (both gayish) first heard about Honeymoon Israel from Jay’s sister’s sister-in-law at a wedding and knew they wanted to participate. They were lucky enough to join the October 2016 NYC Honeymoon Israel trip and love continuing to connect with their HMI community back in New York. Geo and Jay were married in May 2014 in Beacon, NY, nearly five years after being introduced by a mutual friend in 2009. They currently live on the Upper West Side with their 5 1/2-year-old dog Cooper, and spend their days in Midtown (Geo at NBCUniversal and Jay at J.P. Morgan Asset Management).
Address will be e-mailed out to registrants.
This event is generously supported by the UJA Federation of New York.
