Intended for those interested in researching their roots, this program, featuring presentations by experienced genealogists, will follow two simultaneous tracks: a fundamentals track for beginners and a track on special subjects for more experienced researchers. Topics will include finding and interpreting census and vital records, immigration and naturalization records, JewishGen, the online home of Jewish genealogy, the latest in online research, autosomal DNA testing for genealogy; researching the buildings where your ancestors lived and worked, and the latest developments in accessing Central and Eastern European records.
Members of the Jewish Genealogical Society may pay at the JCC member rate.
