Below is my new series of paintings.
For most, I have not yet discovered
suitable names other than the generic
word Congealings. So I am asking the
reader of this blog to submit interesting
titles and/or explanations to any or all
of the paintings and if their responses
ring true, they will receive a
free signed poster from link below
or others in progress

Congealings

A new series inspired by extreme close-ups
of congealed wax textures
caused by dousing a burning candle
into the wine cup
at the mystic End of the Sabbath
or Havdala ceremony,
signifying the "havdala", or separation,
from the holy and the secular,
from light and darkness.
I originally thought to call these creations Angels,
but as the canvas began to be populated
with all kinds
of gargoyles and even ghoulish denizens,
many of whom I would be afraid to meet
in a dark street,
I decided that the relatively neutral term Congealings
would be more appropriate.

Most of the paintings can be turned or hung
sideways and upside down
to reveal amazing new faces!

An added perk would be to view the paintings
with 3-D AVATAR GLASSES to get
incredible depth effects!

A sardonic view of Isaiah's messianic 11:6 prophecy: "A wolf and a lamb will live (peaceably) together",
referring to Israel's (the lamb) future relation to its enemies, who will be around but won't
(be able to) harm. The problem now is that the "wolf" in the painting has not yet read Isaiah.
Oops! Poor Dumb Lamb!
