Those who object to a little Jewish pride is SURVIVING its enemies play with a double standard. Given that they come from a Christian civilization that persecuted the Jews for nearly 2,000 years does NOT give them a moral voice. Tend to your own, we are merely defending ourselves. BTW, the Torah does say G-d blesses those who bless the Jews and curses those who curse the Jews. How that happens is up to G-d, but we the Jews are the agents of that, who are we to say no?

Iran is not trying to "destroy the jewish people". You are on the thin ice of racism yourself by denoting that Iran, an entire country, is secretly plotting the destruction of jews.

This is not true, was not true and will never be true. There are other reasons why you do not get along with your neighbours and I am sure that you are well aware of this (It started after the end of WW2, you're a historian so you should know better than me, eh?). Please do not hide under the (seemingly, but not) bulletproof phrase of "tried to destroy the jewish people".

Bad Guy thinks history starts after WWII.  Maybe he should read about the slaughter of Jews who had lived for thousands of years (Yes Jews have lived in the middle east all through the centuries - not all were expelled by the Romans) in what he probably calls "Palestine" in the 1800s and early 1900s BEFORE WWII.   These slaughters combined with the slaughters of Jews throughout history created the idea of Zionism and the state of Israel, the Holocaust is responsible for the realization.    What specifically is it that Bad Guy alludes to - what about Israel?  Innuendo proves a weak, disorganized and unread mind.  It is unlikely that he can't point to any historical or factual information to support his beliefs about Israel.
