The Loom

Bushwick Purim Party

1087 Flushing Ave (corner Knickerbocker)

Brooklyn, NY  11237

Wednesday, March 23rd, 8:00 PM

Megillah Reading, DJ, dancing, l’chaiming – Open Bar, hamentashen, nice little buffet, schmoozing, flirting,  lounging.

Eclectic crowd: We anticipate both schleppy nebbishes & cutting-edge hipsters to show up, as well as both skate boarders and alter cockers.  That said, you should feel confident that you won’t feel out of place.  So whether you daven maniacally, or never set foot in schul, don’t fret, it’s all good.
Free Admission!

(Also on Facebook)

Transportation suggestions:

  • L train (Canarsie BMT) to Morgan Ave:
  1. Exit at Morgan Ave & Harrison Place.  (If coming from Manhattan, or switching from the G try to ride toward the first car.  From Broadway Junction and other points south and east, ride toward the rear.)
  2. Walk east along Harrison Pl for less than a block to Knickerbocker Ave.
  3. Turn right onto Knickerbocker Ave.
  4. Walk three blocks southeast along Knickerbocker Ave to Flushing Ave.  (The Loom is the gray loft building on the NW corner of Knickerbocker & Flushing.)
  5. Turn left onto Flushing Ave and walk barely a half block to number 1087.
  • B57 bus to Flushing & Knickerbocker Aves.  (Right there.)
  • B60 bus to Flushing & Wilson Aves.  (One block away.)

*Be sure to hit the shindig our friends are throwing the next night in Greenpoint. Similar coming together of scholars, yentas, hipsters, and assorted mishegoyim. Click below:
