The Jewish Museum
Jewish Book Council’s second season of Unpacking the Book: Jewish Writers in Conversation this spring kicks off with a panel discussion between Shulem Deen (All Who Go Do Not Return), Sigal Samuel (The Mystics of Mile End), and Christopher Noxon (Plus One: A Novel) on the sliding spectra of Jewish faith and identity their books represent. Sometimes you need to go “off the derech” to find your real path. And sometimes… sometimes you get circumcised in your 40s.
The event—which includes exclusive after-hours admission to The Jewish Museum and a book-signing following the discussion with wine and refreshments served—is entirely free and open to the public, but all guests must register in advance.
Sign up for free admission or join the JBC Circle membership program to receive copies of the books in the series, a gift of Jewish Book Council’s annual print journal, and a private reception with the participating authors and guided tour of The Jewish Museum’s featured exhibits.
