I honestly can't deal with this heat. I don't know what it's like in New York, but if my air conditioner had broke during Shabbos, I would have been 3 tefachim away from a nervous breakdown. When I woke up this morning, slipped on a skirt, and managed to drag myself out of my refrigerated oasis of a bedroom. I went down the stairs and pulled open my front door to see if the heat would allow me to walk to shul. It seemed pretty mild at first. Then I looked at the thermometer. 98
