For those of you who cry a river every Sunday night while screaming “Move that Bus!” – you can now see it happen in your very own Jewish backyard. Exreme makover Home Edition is rebuiling a house in Bergenfield, NJ, 1 minute away from the Jewish mecca that is Teaneck, NJ within the up and coming Jewy Bergenfield,NJ – supposedly for a blind father whose 2 kids are going blind and whose mom has just been diagnosed with cancer.
The house came down on shabbos with hundreds of shabbos walkers strolling and cheering with the crowd to “Tear it down!” There were rumors that people who lived on the block had a kiddush and invited the cast in for a L’chaim (Sorry ladies, Ty Pennington is actually not hosting this so called 2 hour finale episode, but Jewish celeb Marlee Matlin is filling in for him).
There are also rumors of a New Jersey concert today at 7pm with Bon Jovi or Bruce Springstien perfoming….check it out. (uh, about that sefira thing…)
