Hooters plans to officially open up shop in Tel Aviv. Check it here
We're not making this up…The holy land (which is looking a lot more like this movie these days) will have its own Hooters restaurant, the “family” restaurant that somehow convinced the Amerian public that having waitresses in exceedingly tight low cut shirts and high orange shorts is just perfect for that family fun night your planning with the wife and kids.
I'm dying to know if they'll get a hechsher.
Definitely looking forward to the following:
- AP showing some pics of some scantily clad “Hooters Girl” serving spicy chicken wings and beers to a table of chasidim
- It becoming the “shana aleph” rebellion GoTo place for Succos break
- Having some awesome Hebrew “HOOTERS” tshirts being sold on Ben Yehuda, transliterated inaccurately into “HOOTAIRS”
- Not one Israeli understanding the actual meaning of the name Hooters
