Magen David Adom – the Red Cross of Israel – (along with the Palestinian Red Crescent) was finally admitted into the Red Cross today. Only after 58 years of rejection, due to the fact that in Israel wouldn’t do the whole jesusy Cross (yea right) the Red Cross Org. gave in, sorta (only after the US Red Cross stopped paying its 36 million dollar dues in protest! Way to go U.S.)
Anyhoo – instead of accepting the Red Star of David, the whole organization changed their symbol to The RED CRYSTAL and added the Palestinian Red Crescent to membership, despite the rule that membership requires statehood. Compromises.
