–  Jewish Center: Rabbi Yosie Levine is being formally installed this shabbos (11/1/08) as the new senior rabbi of the Jewish Center, Replacing Rabbi Ari Berman who is off to Israel. Former former Rabbi JJ Schacter and more importantly young person extrordinare Hindy Poupko (Galena) will be speaking after services this shabbos, along with Rabbi Levine's acceptance speeech. Most importantly, installation kiddush to follow  If you don't have any Friday Night plans, they are also having an Oneg in Rabbi Levine's honor at the shul at 830PM.

YIWS is still dominating the young couple world and Rabbi Cohen will be presenting the first of his monthly parenting seminar lectures at MDS, November 6. The topic of the lecture is “Heroic Parenting – Making Time for Our Children”. The class will be given between 8:30 – 9:15 am in the 2nd floor pre-school library.
